全国英語ディベート大会

　私は５年生になってから友人の誘いでディベートを始めました。それまでは全国大会に出場する先輩方の姿を壮行会で見たことがある程度で、ディベートという活動について何も知らず、まさか自分が同じ舞台に立つとは夢にも思っていませんでした。今はディベートにとても感謝しています。県内外のチームとの試合を通じて、英語が堪能な高校生に良い刺激を受け、自身の英語力を向上させることができました。ディベートは、私がそうであったように、皆さんにとってあまり馴染みのないものだと思いますが、興味のある方はぜひ挑戦してください。（５年３組宮前るみ）

We, the members of the debate team, could win the first prize in the Gunma Prefectural Championship and we are going to enter the National Championship. Through English debate, we could gain a lot of useful knowledge, especially about social security and the economy by studying hard about the theme of debate, Basic Income, which provides money to all citizens in Japan. We could also make friends with many people from abroad and could hone our communication skills. We want to do our best at Nationals and are aiming for top 10. (5-1, Shun Ebara)
