多文化教室（１，２年生）

Today, we had a multicultural class. A teacher from India came to visit us. She taught us about Mandala. We speak different languages and have different lifestyles, so you think we can't understand each other, right? But, through Mandala we could laugh with each other. Multiculturalism gives the power to communicate with each other. I want to know more different cultures in the near future.（２年生、Rio Kuwabara）

講師の先生が英語で話していたこともあり、僕たち1年生には理解が難しいところもありましたが、周りの同級生たちと話し合ったり先生に質問したりして、インドの文化であるマンダラアートを体験することができました。こういった体験ができたことは、とても貴重なことだと思うので、これからも他国の文化に触れつつ、本校の目指している「地球市民」により近づける様になりたいです。（１年生、宮﨑祐成）

In this lecture on other cultures, we mainly focused on drawing the patterns of flower petals. I realized once again that each person is completely different and each person hashis or her own idea. I don't think anyone in the world can draw exactly the same pattern as me. I realized that there are as many people as there are types of patterns, and that I only know a small part of the world.（２年生）

多文化講義と聞いてわたしはつまらなそうな行事だな、やりたくないなと思いました。しかし多文化講義が始まると急に、インドに伝わる、曼荼羅模様をかけといわれ驚きました。描いてみると意外と難しく、苦戦しました。初めはただの模様だとしか思えなかった模様にも、皆の個性が出ていてとても面白かったです。家でも気軽にできるので家族ともやってみたいです。このような形で多文化に触れる機会があったことは、ありがたいことだと思いました。（１年生）
